Hayley Bennison of The Wholechild Company (the “Consultant”) is proud to provide online breastfeeding education hosted by Thinkific Labs Inc. ("Thinkific").

These Terms of Service describe the terms and policies that are applicable to this service.

By using this website and by purchasing courses from The Wholechild Company, you (“you” or “Client”) agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Service, and you consent to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

The Services

This online breastfeeding education program contains videos and handouts (PDFs) created by an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), which cover topics and issues relating to birth, breastfeeding and infant feeding.

Please note the following:

The educational material does not replace an in-person session with a board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC), as there are certain situations this service will not be able to provide support with.
While this educational material can be beneficial for the specific issues being addressed, and is supported by the most up-to-date evidence-based research, it should not be relied upon in cases of emergency or serious medical concerns. You should never disregard, avoid, or delay in obtaining medical advice from your doctor or other qualified healthcare professional in cases of emergency or serious medical concerns.

Program Accessibility, Pricing and Payment

The fee for this program (the “Fee”) is the price displayed at the time of purchase. Pricing varies depending on the course selected by you, the Client. Payments must be made at the time of purchase, and are processed through Thinkific’s secure Stripe online payment system.

By purchasing, you are agreeing to pay the full Fee, subject only to the Refund Policy (set out below), and understand the additional support options available.

You, the Client, will have lifetime access to the course content (videos and PDFs) from the time of purchase.

Refund Policy

The Wholechild Online Courses and eBooks are non-refundable.

All rights reserved. No part of this Online Course may be reproduced, distributed, or transmitted in any form or by any means, including photocopying, recording, or other electronic, registration login or mechanical methods, without the prior written permission of the Consultant. The consultant reserves the right to remove Client access privileges if this agreement is not followed.

Termination

We may terminate this Agreement with you at any time for any reason, with or without cause. We specifically reserve the right to terminate this Agreement if you violate any of the terms outlined herein, including, but not limited to, violating the intellectual property rights of us or a third party, failing to comply with applicable laws or other legal obligations, and/or publishing or distributing illegal material. You may also terminate this Agreement at any time by contacting us and requesting termination. At the termination of this Agreement, any provisions that would be expected to survive termination by their nature shall remain in full force and effect.

Please be advised that terminating this Agreement does not entitle you to a refund on any monies spent with us.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and of the laws of Canada applicable therein.
